Your RV is spacious and full of amenities, but it may not feel quite like home when you first walk into it. Fortunately, this can be remedied through interior decorating! It doesn’t cost much to decorate your camper’s interior and the results will have you eager to spend as much time in your RV as possible!
Add Some Color
The typical color palette of an RV is brown, gray, white, and black, which isn’t extremely inspiring. However, this gives you a blank canvas to experiment with. You can paint the walls of your RV just like those in your house; use a primer to help the paint stick. Select a bold accent color for one wall or paint all the walls in a light pastel to open up the room. Ensure that any decorations and curtains you choose go well with the color you used.
Soften Things Up
While your RV’s furniture is easy to clean and practical, it’s probably not very cozy as it is. This is where some comfortable throw pillows and soft fleece blankets can help create a more warm and friendly living space. You could even look for old quilts and afghans at a garage or estate sale to jazz up your space. Or, if you’re crafty, make your own!
Grow Houseplants
So long as you keep your houseplants in sturdy containers on the floor or mounted on the wall in transit, you can easily bring some plants on board your RV. Green and lush, a few houseplants will clean the air in your RV and make it a more welcoming place to spend time. If you like, you could even cultivate some herbs to use in your cooking!
