Help us to help you! Here are some quick tips to follow to make your experience as easy and streamlined as possible. Any and all information you can provide before hand (whether it is ultimately needed or not) in most cases will insure a quick turn around time for finding the part you are looking for.
For most non appliance parts (Interior trims, chassis parts, etc): Please have the Year, Make, Model, and Vin number of your Motorhome, or travel trailer. For Fleetwood Motorized products please also include the Fleetwood ID Number (F.I.N), which is generally found on a tag on the driver side exterior. Pictures are worth a thousand words!
For Appliances (AC’s, Refrigerators, Water heaters, Furnaces, etc): Please have both the model number and serial number. For Dometic Refrigerators please also have the Product number (found on the same tag as Model and Serial). Please also include any part numbers you can find on whatever part you need to replace. For Onan Generators: Please have a COMPLETE model number at hand. Onan generators have an ID plate that lists a full Model number. Micro light 3500, or Quiet Diesel 7000 is not sufficient. Model Numbers Generally will look like this: ex. 8.0HDKAK Followed by a few numbers and ending with a letter. This final letter is the “spec letter” and is important in making sure the right parts are sourced for your generator. Onan part numbers can also be found on most every Onan part. Onan part numbers will look like this generally: 3 digits followed by a dash followed by 4 more digits. ex 185-5660
Awnings: Carefree of Colorado-Most every Carefree of Colorado awning will have this number on one of the arms: BN3N4. This is NOT a model number. For replacement parts for Carefree awnings the most effective method, is sending pictures of the part your need, or bringing the part to us. For replacement fabrics, we need the measurement from center to center of each awning arm. For replacement hardware, we need the measurement from center of the top bracket to center of the bottom bracket.
A&E by Dometic- A&E awnings have tags on both the Hardware, and the roller tube with a model number, serial number and a product number. A typical A&E Awning part number will start with 3 digits followed by 2 letters and 2 more numbers. Ex 858GB18.400. If the tag is worn or missing, please see the above concerning Carefree of Colorado.
Toilets: Sealand: Model number and serial number will generally be on the back of the toilet.
Thetford: Tag with model number and serial number will be on the back. Please also include the Product Name if available. ie. Aqua Magic IV, Galaxy, Starlight, etc.
